Whitesands

Whitesands

Whitesands is our wholly owned operating company holding, dedicated to developing Petrobank's heavy oil and oil sands assets using our patented THAI® technology. These assets are located in the southern Athabasca Oil Sands, the Peace River Oil Sands and Saskatchewan's heavy oil belt.

We currently operate the Conklin Demonstration Project and the Kerrobert Project. We plan to start developing the Dawson Demonstration Project in late 2011 with plans to submit a regulatory application for expansion before the end of this year. May River, our Athabasca oilsands project, is now in the final stages of regulatory approval for a 10,000 bopd facility.
